Purpose of the Assessment
An adult ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) assessment is designed to clarify whether challenges such as difficulties with focus, organization, impulsivity, or restlessness are related to ADHD/ADD.
The process combines an in-depth clinical interview, standardized questionnaires, and, where needed, psychometric testing. These tools help provide an accurate understanding of the client’s difficulties and guide individualized recommendations.
At the end of the process, you will receive a comprehensive written report that summarizes the findings, provides clinical interpretation, and offers tailored recommendations. The report may also be forwarded to your family physician or other healthcare providers involved in your treatment, with your consent and in full accordance with professional confidentiality and ethical standards.
-
Total Cost: $2,100 (paid in three installments of $700).
-
The cost includes the preparation and writing of the final evaluation report.
-
If a case is more complex and requires additional time, further sessions may be arranged with your consent at the psychologist’s hourly rate of $240/hour.
-
Services are payable via debit, cheque, and Interac e-Transfer and are considered tax-deductible medical expenses, often reimbursable through extended health insurance.
